Meta is seeking AI Software Engineers to join our Research & Development teams. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in computer vision and will apply these skills to solve some of the web's most exciting problems. We are hiring in multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent visual systems that enhance Meta's products and experiences.
• Advance the state of AI by setting and executing roadmaps for 6+ months.
• Define projects for other engineers and guide their efforts to achieve impactful results.
• Develop novel AI algorithms and systems for large-scale applications.
• Analyze model signals and configurations to optimize performance and gain insights.
• Define use cases, methodologies, and benchmarks for evaluating approaches.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure in C/C++ or Python.
• Knowledge in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, 3D Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or AI.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithms.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Contributions to AI publications.
