Job summary

CIBC US is seeking a Northeastern University student for a Chicago-based co-op program in a hybrid in-person setting. You will join our technology team and collaborate with software developers to design, build, test, and maintain applications, while gaining hands-on experience with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, testing, Agile/Scrum development, and producing technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at Northeastern University. Computer Science and/or Engineering majors preferred, other majors may be considered.
• 3.5 GPA minimum
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Join our technology team and work directly with software developers to design, build, test, and maintain applications
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist in design and development of applications
• Work toward continuous improvement in application performance and stability
• Assist in discovering, evaluating, and implementing technologies to maximize user experience and efficiency
• Assist in performing testing to measure the quality of software; ensure the quality meets standards
• Assist in Agile/Scrum development and application support
• Write technical specifications and technical documentation; translate business requirements into functional specifications.
