Position Overview

Location: Remote (based in Rochester, Minnesota)

You will design, develop, and support robust applications powering clinical, data, and analytics systems, making a real impact across healthcare operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML.
• Develop and support integrations via REST APIs and relational databases (SQL).
• Collaborate with team leads, business users, and IT teams to gather and refine technical requirements.
• Contribute to microservices and cloud-native solutions focusing on uptime and scalability.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and releases.
• Support deployment automation using tools like Azure Pipelines, ADO, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Document source code, processes, and implementation details for long-term maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex system issues.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and SQL.
• Strong experience with RESTful API integrations.
• Proficient in Agile Scrum practices and cross-functional teamwork.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), build pipelines, and modern development environments.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Java and Spring frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with GCP or Azure.
• Background in healthcare IT systems or clinical applications.
• Experience with scalable cloud services, big data, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of deployment tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of full-time coding experience in high-level languages like Java, C++, Golang, or Python.
