Kforce is seeking a Software Engineer-Cloud for an onsite opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves owning cloud applications from architecture and deployment through backend development, troubleshooting and optimization.

Responsibilities include designing and managing AWS infrastructure, developing Python-based backend services and REST APIs, and building infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK. Strong SQL/NoSQL experience and IaC are required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong AWS experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and ECS

• REST API development experience
• PostgreSQL and NoSQL experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud applications

Pay Range

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
