Job summary

HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division is seeking a qualified software professional to analyze, program, configure, test and implement cloud or on-premise applications to support business objectives.

The role may cover parts of the application lifecycle, coordinating with user groups to identify improvements, manage upgrades, and align IT infrastructure with processes. A Bachelor's degree is required, with additional IT experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Equivalent IT-related qualifications may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, program, configure, test and implement cloud or on-premise software applications in support of business objectives.
• Coordinate with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes and train users.
• Manage installation of application/system upgrades, integrations and maintenance of system changes.
