Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, North America’s largest beverage distributor, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to build and maintain systems with low complexity. You will own your work under supervision, collaborate across teams, and drive quality through automation in a fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes learning, applying development practices, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines while growing technical and collaborative skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Experience with engineering methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of multiple programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Scala).
• Basic knowledge of development platforms (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality software deliverables using automation and tooling best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software problems.
• Analyze root causes and suggest fixes for defects.
• Assist integration of solutions with other applications and platforms.
• Configure systems as needed and participate in incident resolution.
• Code applications following a disciplined development process.
• Develop and test assigned software areas within the development lifecycle.
• Perform automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Review code for quality and integrate into artifacts and processes.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of software features and APIs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
