Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Software Engineer to join a global team. You will design, develop, test, and integrate software used by internal products and customer-focused innovation. Collaborate with engineers to deliver features and fix issues across Light & Wonder's suite.

The role emphasizes problem solving, code quality, and teamwork in a regulated gaming environment, with opportunities to work on diverse platforms and technologies.

Qualifications

• Gaming industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of C# and C++.
• Experience with client-server architectures and OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and CI practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative features and functionality for Light & Wonder products, utilities, and tools.
• Research new technologies to modernize and elevate existing products.
• Refactor, improve, and optimize existing code base.
• Design and build libraries shared across Light & Wonder products.
• Follow secure coding practices, TDD, and CI workflows.
• Provide prompt resolution to bugs/issues using debugging skills.
