Job summary

Advanced Solutions International (ASI) is seeking a software developer to design, develop, and support web-based enterprise applications. You will work with a skilled team to deliver solutions with established coding standards and agile design.

You will participate in Scrum rituals, contribute to design decisions, and ensure milestones are met in sprints. The role emphasizes collaboration, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or Information Science or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience developing web-based enterprise applications (UI, DB access, networking).
• Experience with web stacks (Java 8+, Spring/Hibernate, TypeScript, NodeJS, Postgres/MySQL) in lieu of .NET.
• Cloud-based app deployment in a DevOps environment using Azure services.
• Solid object-oriented software engineering with proven testing experience.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work in person or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active team member on product development tasks with the Product Owner and ScrumMaster.
• Collaborate with scrum teammates on design and development tasks.
• Contribute to analysis, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of high-quality software.
• Meet project milestones and complete user stories in sprints.
• Follow standards to deliver high-quality, valuable projects.
• Apply agile methods and seek continuous improvement.
• Provide technical knowledge to improve product performance and usability.
• Conduct code reviews and various testing activities.
• Work with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve issues.
