Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of robust integration solutions within our BPaaS platform for healthcare payer clients. The role involves driving system interface strategies and leading technical delivery using platforms like HealthEdge, Salesforce, and Edifecs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect and implement scalable integration solutions for core payer workflows and data exchange.
2. Design and optimize APIs, ETL pipelines, and EDI file exchanges.
3. Collaborate with solution architects, engineering leads, and delivery teams to ensure project alignment.
4. Mentor junior developers and support code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
5. Monitor and resolve complex integration issues in production environments.
6. Ensure all solutions meet healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and HITRUST.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. 5–10 years of professional experience in software development and systems integration.
3. Expertise in at least two of the following platforms: HealthEdge, Salesforce, Edifecs.
4. Strong proficiency in Java, with advanced experience in either C# or C++.
5. Deep understanding of payer data formats, interoperability standards (EDI, HL7, FHIR), and payer platform workflows.
6. Proven experience delivering large-scale healthcare integration solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with cloud-native tools (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Integration Services).
2. Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Terraform).
3. Experience with Agile development and technical team leadership or project ownership.
