Set of X is seeking an experienced backend developer to design, implement, and optimize large-scale graph data processing for mission-critical visualizations. You will collaborate with analysts, operators, and other engineers to build, deploy, and tune datasets across a high-performance platform.

All positions require an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The role emphasizes ownership, code quality, and delivery of robust services using Java, C#, Docker/Kubernetes, and graph databases.

Qualifications

• 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
• Strong OO programming and software design skills.
• Experience with large-scale graph data processing is a plus.

You will act as backend developer supporting a large-scale innovative project that involves the design, implementation, deployment, and high-performance tuning of large datasets in graph databases to provide unique and powerful visualizations for customer mission impact. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and other software engineers to build and maintain constantly changing and growing datasets. You will also be responsible for writing efficient graph retrieval and analytic traversal queries that answer key customer questions and surface critical insights.

Responsibilities

• Create new datasets to store into an existing platform.
• Build various extract/transform/load services.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the domain and elicit requirements to form and enhance the overall solution.
  

Required Skills

• Expert with Object Oriented programming languages (Java, C#).
• Strong experience with build environment tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Service containerization and deployment experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git.
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
• Experience with modeling data and relationships in graph databases.
• Expertise in high performance tuning of graph databases.
• Experience with networking concepts, protocols, and analysis (routers, switches, etc.).
• Knowledge of SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.

Education/Experience

8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
