AvidXchange is seeking a Software Engineer to drive full lifecycle application development from concept through deployment in a collaborative Agile environment. You will work with Product Owners, QA Automation, DevOps, and Scrum Masters to translate business requirements into robust software features.

You will design solutions compliant with modern architectures (microservices, CQRS, event sourcing), write unit tests, and ensure security by following OWASP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with source control in CI environments.
• Experience with Agile software development processes (Scrum or Kanban).
• Building applications in Azure-based Cloud architectures.
• Designing solutions with microservices, SOA, DDD, CQRS, async messaging, service bus, event sourcing, APIs or web services.
• Using SQL including stored procedures, indexes, and functions.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices including OWASP.

Responsibilities

• Perform full life cycle application development and collaborate with Agile engineers.
• Work with Product Owner, QA Automation, Software Engineers, DBAs, and Scrum Masters to translate requirements into software features.
• Create unit tests and ensure code quality and security.
