Job summary

TrueScripts Management Services is seeking an Applications Engineer to design, develop, and support secure web applications, APIs, and related solutions. The role emphasizes Microsoft-based development (C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure) within a cloud-first architecture.

The ideal candidate will hands-on build with stakeholders, ensure security-first practices, and contribute across the full development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Experience building secure web applications and APIs for internal and external users.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries and designing DB structures.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Blazor.
• Experience deploying on Microsoft Azure or another cloud environment.
• Understanding of secure development practices (auth, data protection, logging).
• Experience with RESTful API design and system integration.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure enterprise web applications using .NET technologies.
• Build and maintain internal and external APIs supporting business processes and integrations.
• Develop using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks.
• Design database objects in Microsoft SQL Server to support functionality.
• Collaborate with business users and developers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Build cloud-native apps using Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps).
• Participate in architecture discussions on performance, scalability, and security.
• Support authentication and identity management using OpenID Connect, OAuth, Azure AD/B2C.
• Develop and maintain integrations between systems and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across environments.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
