Job summary

Amazon AWS Physical AI Solutions is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Seattle to build scalable simulation, synthetic data, and validation tooling for autonomous systems. You will transform design specifications into diverse synthetic scenarios and sensor data, enabling comprehensive safety validation.

You’ll work with generative AI models and integrate with SageMaker to support perception model training and validation workflows, contributing to reliable, scalable autonomous systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scenario generation pipelines with comprehensive coverage analysis.
• Build AI model integration layers using real-world data for plausible agent behavior.
• Develop export connectors for standard simulation platforms with authentication and data transfer.
• Create synthetic sensor data generation systems (multi-modal outputs) with metadata tracking.
• Integrate with SageMaker for perception model training and validation tooling.
