Brooks Automation, a leading provider of automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, seeks a Software Engineer for an onsite role in Fremont, CA. You will gather requirements, design, implement in C# and Python, review code, and build tests with the project team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of software development (or 6+ years), plus 5 years in C# and Python, UML, multi-threaded and socket programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of professional software development experience OR 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5 years of professional software programming in C#.
• 5 years of professional software programming in Python.
• Knowledge of UML in OO analysis & design.
• Experience in multi-threaded programming.
• Experience in network socket programming.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, write specs, and review with project team.
• Propose design, write design specs, and review with peers.
• Implement design with C# and Python.
• Review code with peers and develop test cases.
• Integrate software components into the system and assist in testing.
