We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in ASP.NET/.NET / C# / Javascript / HTML5 and CSS development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications while ensuring smooth incident resolution and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using ASP.NET/.NET / C# / Javascript / HTML5 and CSS
• Collaboratively work directly with the Operations stakeholders and the wider UK Technology team offering new solutions where appropriate
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents to ensure system stability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Optimize database queries and enhance application performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and support processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance and modify existing applications.
• Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

What You'll Bring to Numerator

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in software development and support.
• Strong programming skills in ASP.NET/.NET / C#
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience of API development (3rd party / internal)
• Experience of using MS Azure tooling, including ADO Boards
• Experience with cloud platforms such as MS Azure or AWS.
• Comfortable with ITSM tooling such as Service Now & Jira
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Hands-on experience in incident management and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes related to support and incident handling.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities – including the ability to explain technical approaches, solutions and issues to non-technical colleagues

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
