This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications, managing development teams, and providing technical leadership. The candidate should be proficient in languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Ruby, Python, Scala, and Groovy, and have extensive knowledge of software development, systems, APIs, containerization, and distributed systems.
The responsibilities include software development, debugging, modification, documentation, and contributing to research reports and proposals. Additional duties involve developing software for military embedded systems, ensuring standards compliance, and acting as a technical liaison with sponsors.
Minimum qualifications include experience with C/C++, Python, Linux GCC, and multiprocessing software on Linux. Preferred qualifications include an active Secret Clearance, experience with military and autonomous systems, secure and safety-critical software, and familiarity with tools like Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
This position is open-rank, requiring 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or no experience with a Master's degree. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance are mandatory.
