Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Android components.
  • Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.
  • Product design intuition and user empathy.
  • Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.
  • Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests.
  • Self-drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec.
  • Rock solid experience with Kotlin and related technologies.

Overview

Speechify’s text-to-speech products help millions of people turn reading material into audio to read faster, read more, and remember more. Today, Speechify operates with a 100% distributed workforce of nearly 200 people around the globe, including engineers, AI researchers, and others from leading tech companies and academia. Our interview process involves several technical interviews and aims to be completed within 1 week.

The United States Based salary range for this role is: 140,000-200,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
