Job summary

Tinder is seeking an Android Engineer to contribute to the Tinder App's architecture, design, and consumer-facing features.

You will help design and implement new in-app experiences with millions of users worldwide, collaborate with product and design teams to shape the roadmap, and build scalable internal frameworks.

Qualifications

• Interest in Android development and learning how large mobile apps are built.
• Basic programming experience in Kotlin.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms from coursework or personal projects.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

As an Android engineer at Tinder, you will have an outsized impact and ownership of the most visible aspects of the Tinder App. We are deeply invested in challenging norms, constantly improving architecture design, exploring emergent tech and ideas, and leveraging new technologies in interesting ways to deliver an app that is widely known the world over.

This role requires in-office collaboration three days a week in our Palo Alto Office.
