GlossGenius is seeking Software Engineers (all levels) to join Product or Platform teams, building AI features that transform how customers operate and grow their businesses. You will work on front-end experiences for web and mobile, define microservice infrastructure, and ship scalable systems with a focus on performance and security.

You should have 2+ years of software development, a CS degree or equivalent, and hands-on experience with AI/ML APIs or LLMs.

GlossGenius is seeking Software Engineers (all levels) to join our Product or Platform-based teams and help us build AI features that transform how our customers operate and grow their businesses. Product-focused engineers solve key customer problems at the intersection of business needs and technical solutions, while Platform-focused engineers build scalable, reliable, and extensible systems that empower product teams to deliver value quickly and with quality.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications that empower beauty and wellness businesses to operate and grow
• Build new AI features for our customers
• Develop and define our microservice-based infrastructure
• Build tools and solutions that enable internal teams to work faster, more effectively, and improve the value they provide users
• Work on core experiences such as friction-free payments, tools to help customers earn more per hour, and solutions for businesses to grow and manage their teams
• Focus on front-end development, crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for backend systems

You're a great fit if you:

• Have 2+ years of professional experience in software development
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience
• Have hands-on experience building with AI/ML APIs or LLMs, and have shipped real products or meaningful side projects using AI
• Think critically about where AI adds genuine value and how to integrate it responsibly into a product
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to take ownership and contribute new ideas to solve challenging problems
• Can analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
• Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and team spirit
• Are able to work in the San Francisco office 3-4 days per week, with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Total Compensation

The starting base salary for this role in San Francisco is between $150,000-$230,000 plus target equity and benefits. The base salary offered depends on skills, experience, and education.
