Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies.
• Proficient with JavaScript and React.
• Proficient with Python backend.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of internal tools to improve safety of OpenAI's models.
• Partner with Safety Systems researchers, engineers, and policy creators to translate workflows into durable product solutions.
• Build full-stack experiences to support model policy workflows (labeling, inspecting data, reviewing failure cases).
• Optimize internal applications for usability, speed, and scale to increase team velocity and reduce time-to-fix for safety issues.
• Transform successful AI-assisted safety workflows into external safety products for developers.
