Job summary

Confluence is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer in Pittsburgh to modernise a market-leading platform and embed AI capabilities into production. You will build .NET / C# services for a large product ecosystem, integrating large language models and agent-based workflows into live products.

You will work in a hybrid Pittsburgh office, collaborate across teams, and apply your knowledge of REST APIs, SOA, design patterns, and React.

Qualifications

• Strong .NET / C# development experience
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture
• Experience in agile development environments
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams
• Self-starter, quick learner comfortable tackling new problems
• Approximately 2+ years’ professional software engineering experience and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build .NET / C# services for a large product ecosystem and modernise the platform
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and contribute to SOA initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enabled features
