Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking an engineer to build and maintain LLM agent pipelines, MCP integrations, and RAG systems using Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript/React. You will work with Claude Code daily for code generation and debugging, collaborate on AI-powered software enhancements, and participate in code reviews while delivering production-ready solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of production software development, with hands-on AI/ML experience, and a solid foundation in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of production software development experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LLM, agentic, or AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain LLM agent pipelines, MCP integrations, and RAG systems.
• Use Claude Code as a daily engineering tool for code generation and debugging.
• Collaborate to optimize AI-powered software applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Analyze root causes and implement effective fixes.
• Translate requirements into production-ready code.
• Help create user stories and estimate work for planning.
• Suggest design improvements for system architecture.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
• Document usage, architecture, design, and APIs.
• Write broad unit and integration tests.
