Speechify, a 100% distributed company, is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join its AI team and build data pipelines powering model training. You’ll develop scalable systems for large-scale audio data processing and collaborate with AI scientists.

With 5+ years of backend experience and proficiency in Python and Bash, you’ll own data sources, ensure data quality, and optimize throughput and cost in a remote, global setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with data pipelines or large-scale data processing required.
• Strong backend development fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash on Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Discover new audio data sources and build pipelines for training datasets.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training data and models.
• Own projects from discovery through implementation and improvement.
