Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Agentic AI, Velocity Labs team in Seattle.

You will design and build AI primitives and user-facing services, delivering features from concept through rollout in a fast-paced environment. You will review system designs, follow best software practices, and work with AI/ML practitioners to push the boundaries of agentic AI.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI primitives and user-facing services in a fast-paced environment.
Ship features from concept to design to implementation and rollout.
Review system designs and work with the team to shape future product direction.
Collaborate with AI/ML practitioners, software engineers, and solution architects to deliver high quality products.
