Job summary

Radical AI is seeking engineers to build and operate production AI agents for materials discovery. You will own tools, workflows, evaluations, and observability, delivering features across data layers, APIs, agents, and lab/customer applications.

The role requires hands-on experience with Python, Go, and TypeScript, API design, and modern frontend tech, with emphasis on building scalable, observable systems and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Five+ years building production backend systems.
• Experience operating LLM-based agents or workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and TypeScript within a monorepo.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of professional experience building production backend systems and hands-on experience operating LLM-based agents or workflows. Candidates should also have TypeScript and modern frontend experience, API and database fundamentals, familiarity with agent evaluation patterns, and the ability to work across a Python, Go, and TypeScript monorepo.
