Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance enterprise-scale advertising technology powering Prime Video’s global platform. You will craft solutions for complex ad serving, dynamic breaks and slot management while collaborating with Prime Video and Publishing Technology teams.

You will lead design and implementation of large components, decompose problems, and promote rapid experimentation.

Qualifications

3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis)
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Responsibilities

Understand fundamentals and tradeoffs of Amazon’s advertising stacks and related industry standards.
Drive technical solutions/architecture for scalable advertising workflows.
Lead design of large components, write code, and deploy enterprise-level systems for broad use cases.
Decompose complex problems into simple, flexible designs with standards-based approaches.
Develop an engineering culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration.
Build relationships and earn trust with partner teams.
