Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a Senior AI Engineer to advance AI/ET initiatives for federal government projects. You’ll work with stakeholders to capture requirements, plan structured work, and improve certification processes using AI/ML tooling and LLMs for vulnerability analysis.

Prerequisites include TS/SCI clearance, a related degree, and hands-on experience with Python, LLM integration, data engineering, and secure enclave deployments. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python, LLM integration, and data engineering; experience with static analyzers and RAG systems will be a plus
• Experience with Agile methodologies and related tooling (Git, Jira, Confluence)
• Experience designing and deploying AI/ML tooling in secure environments
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, vectorization, and database design for AI workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain LLM orchestration frameworks coordinating static analyzers, RAG systems, and testing pipelines
• Develop data preprocessing pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and vectorize documents, code, and test results for LLM use
• Design and implement databases supporting RAG architectures, storage, audits, and metadata management
• Collaborate with systems engineers to deploy AI tools within secure enclaves and optimize performance

Seeking a motivated Senior AI Engineer with a proven track record in software engineering and deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) techniques to support the exciting new AI and Emerging Technologies (AI&ET) mission. The engineer will work closely with mission stakeholders to capture requirements, aid in structured planning, and improve the certification process by introducing AI/ML tooling. Additionally, the engineer will use AI/ML to develop tools and techniques to include fine tuning Large Language Models (LLM) that assist in enhanced vulnerability identification and mitigation capabilities.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities

• Collaborate closely with technical leadership to design, develop, and maintain LLM orchestration frameworks that coordinate static analyzers, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and automated testing pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data preprocessing pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and vectorize product documentation, source code, and test results for LLM consumption.
• Design and implement database solutions to support RAG architectures, artifact storage, audit trails, and metadata management.
• Collaboratively work with systems engineers to architect and deploy networked AI tools within secure enclaves and conduct performance profiling, optimization, and scalability analysis of mission systems.
• Support security assessments and authority to operate (ATO) processes.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, LLM integration, and data engineering. Experience with static analyzers, RAG framework, and relational and vector databases. Familiarization with Agile, Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Desired Technical Skills

• Familiarization with RUST, Claude Code, Codex, and CI/CD.

Pay Range: $86.20 - $136.27 per hour*
