Job summary

Trace3 is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications for a BM/SRM program in Huntsville, AL. The role emphasizes software development, integration, testing, and automation within a secure command-and-control environment.

You will collaborate across engineering and support teams, apply DevSecOps practices, and support cyber security requirements while using Maven, GitHub, Nexus, and Eclipse.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

The Software Engineer will support the program’s Regional Applications / Battle Management Sensor Resource Management (BM/SRM) team by developing and maintaining Java-based enterprise applications. This role is responsible for software development, integration, testing, operational support, and automation efforts within a complex command and control environment. The position requires collaboration across engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues, improve system performance, and support mission-critical operations.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

Estimated Pay Range: $105,000 USD – $122,500 USD
