Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer to support daily development tasks and mission-aligned solutions. The candidate must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and be a U.S. citizen.

A BS in CS or a related field is required, with 14+ years of SWE experience (or 4 years substitution for the degree). Key skills include Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS deployments, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/Sci U.S. Government clearance with a favorable polygraph; U.S. citizen required.
• 14+ years of software engineering experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university required. Alternatively, 4 years of SWE experience may substitute for the degree.

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer to assist with daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills:

• Python

• Containerization (K8s or AWS Elastic Container Service)
• Cloud native application deployment experience in AWS
• Agile lifecycle experience
• Experience deriving software requirements experience collaborating on multi-team software projects
