Job summary

Jobtailor in Kentucky seeks a senior full stack engineer to design, develop, test, operate and maintain software products. You will own the full stack, writing production-ready, testable code and delivering scalable, reliable systems.

You will apply Hogan DDA application knowledge, work with legacy COBOL/JCL environments, and drive security and compliance across the product lifecycle while collaborating across teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Hogan DDA Application.
• Extensive knowledge of Hogan process dictionary components and PCDs.
• Experience with CICS/VTAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easy Trieve, JCL, MVS, Expeditor, and Gitlab.

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
• Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
• Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
• Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
• Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
• Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
• Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures

Requirements

• Experience working with Hogan DDA Application
• Extensive knowledge of Hogan's process dictionary components and PCDs, and reflect heavy involvement in development, conversions, or implementation of new releases of the Hogan systems.
• Experience with CICS/VTAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easy Trieve, JCL, MVS operating system, Expeditor, and Gitlab.
