Title: Junior Software Engineer
Job Type: Fulltime/Contract on W2
Duration: 12+Months
Locations:– Hybrid 3 days onsite /2 days remote
  • Des Moines, IA
  • Minneapolis, MN
As a Junior Software Engineer , you will:
  • Develop and maintain Java-based, cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Create functional and unit tests (BDD, JUnit) to ensure high code quality.
  • Buildfront-end components using Angular or React JS.
  • Integrate with databases (Oracle, MongoDB) and streaming platforms (Kafka).
  • Deploy applications on Tomcat and OpenShift.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams, leveraging GitHub Copilot and AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Java development (Required)
  • Microservices, OpenShift, and GitHub Copilot experience
  • Python, Generative or Agentic AI experience
  • JavaScript (Angular or React) and Java unit testing (JUnit) experience
  • BDD test development experience
  • Spring Boot, Tomcat, SQL, Hibernate, Oracle, MongoDB experience
  • Kafka or similar streaming tech experience
  • Cloud certification (any provider) experience
  • Agile methodology experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: Between $35- 45per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
