Job description

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for our client partner. Candidate must be located in one of the following locations: AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in tactical initiatives such as designing, developing, and reviewing code, with opportunities to be involved in strategic visioning, introducing new technologies, design improvements, metrics, and process enhancements.
• Be involved in the full application lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain, with innovation at each stage.
• Design APIs and collaborate with other teams to build integrations.
• Develop complete slices of the application, from UI to data store.
• Share responsibility with teammates for occasional after-hours on-call support for production systems.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain complex automated test scripts, data, and drivers following recognized SDLC methodologies.
• Participate in and lead design and code reviews.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in enterprise application development.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB), including migration scripts.
• 2+ years of experience in Java.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular and Typescript.
