U.S. Bank’s Irvine-based Software Engineer 2 will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native software experiences using .NET 5+ and REST APIs.

You will architect microservices, lead CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab, and collaborate across product, architecture, and business teams. The role emphasizes automation, security best practices, and modern engineering patterns, with a focus on scalable, high-performance solutions in a DevOps environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, ASP.NET Core.
  • Advanced Azure experience including AKS, Azure SQL, App Services, Storage.
  • Hands-on REST API design and development.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID, design patterns, domain-driven design.
  • Experience with React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • SQL Server performance tuning and data modeling.
  • Proven microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, JFrog Artifactory.
  • DevOps automation with CI/CD; security best practices.
