Software Engineer 1 (TS/SCI w/Poly)

CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements for the Data Transport System (DTS).
2. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
3. Debug existing software and correct defects.
4. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
5. Provide application development involving high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed computing environments.
6. Work with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA and related technologies.

Additional Role Details:

Location: Columbia, MD, supporting DTS portfolio for real-time data transfer.

Experience with Apache Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, and processing large data sets is preferred.

Required skills include Linux proficiency, Git, Maven, Gradle, RESTful services, containers, and security protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 4-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Java, Linux, RESTful services, and configuration management tools.
• Potential for CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certification.
