Job summary

Seerist, a leader in AI-driven augmented analytics for threat intelligence, seeks a software engineer to build real-time data ingestion and processing infrastructure. You will design high-volume pipelines, architect event-driven systems, and optimize data schemas for heavy loads.

Collaborate with intelligence analysts and product teams to ensure performance and analytical needs are met, while leveraging AWS, Datadog, and OpenSearch in a hybrid office setup in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js and Python in production systems.
• Strong background in event-driven architectures and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with AWS services (SQS, S3) and cost-aware cloud design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Experience building and debugging microservices at scale and using observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Join the Collections & Alerts software team to build data ingestion and processing infrastructure.
• Design and implement high-volume data pipelines and event-driven systems.
• Optimize queries and schemas for heavy load; instrument services for observability.
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to meet performance and analytical needs.
• Debug production issues across distributed systems and manage cloud resources.
