Job summary

Akina invites a Software Engineer 1 to join our AI infrastructure team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will develop and maintain high-quality AI tools and applications, ensure reliability, and engage with customers to tailor solutions.

Candidates have at least 3 years SWE experience, a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, TS/SCI with poly, and strong Python skills; Kubernetes/CI/CD experience is a plus; salary reflects market value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Three (3) years of SWE experience in similar scope is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for the workforce to use.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI tools.
• Modify FOSS to accommodate customer use cases.
• Regularly engage with customers to elicit requirements and develop solutions.
• Maintain existing customer-facing infrastructure and applications.
