Job Summary:

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) is the number one provider of Metrology software worldwide with leading brands including eMMA, HxGN Robotic Automation, Inspire, Nexus, PC-DMIS, QUINDOS, Q-DAS, SpatialAnalyzer, and VGSTUDIO MAX. We are seeking a highly skilled C++/C# .NET WPF Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in modern software application development, with a solid background in math and physics.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Application and Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and maintain algorithms, applications, and libraries using C++.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with team members (product owner, tester) on development and support tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and perform support activities.
3. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
4. Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and compatibility.
5. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit tests and debug applications for performance and reliability.
6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code and systems.
7. Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and bugs.
8. Work Environment: Remote or at one of Hexagon's global offices, as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience: 3 to 5+ years with C++.
3. WPF Expertise: Experience with WPF development, including MVVM pattern and creating user interfaces, is a plus.
4. Frontend Skills: UI/UX design experience is a plus.
5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills.
6. Version Control: Experience with systems like Git.
7. Team Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Math Background: Knowledge in mathematics and linear algebra.
9. Language Skills: Fluency in English.
10. Hardware Experience: Experience with machine interfacing and sensors, with product and hardware knowledge to be supported via lab training.
