Job summary

Epsilon in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking a Software Engineer to create innovative data solutions for social media and digital ads. In this role, you'll develop high-volume applications and migrate solutions to the cloud while applying best engineering practices. Candidates should hold a B.S. in Computer Science and have a strong groundwork in Java, Python, and SQL. The package includes flexible time off and comprehensive health coverage. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help us build innovative and secure data solutions for social media, search, and digital ads within a Big Data environment. In this role, you will use best-in-class engineering approaches and secure data management practices to help process terabytes of data each week, while solving difficult problems using predictive analytics and cutting‑edge technologies. What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain complex data solutions for high-volume applications in the cloud, and help with the ongoing migration to the cloud
  • Create reusable output and processes as you implement each solution.
  • Ensure test coverage in support of our continuous integration environment and to drive code quality.
  • Use agile and DevOps methodologies to help drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong development practices with experience writing and testing code.
  • 1+ years of software development experience using Java/Python or both to build applications.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database environments.
  • Experience working in a Unix environment, including writing Unix Shell Scripts.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop, HBase and Spark is a plus
  • Knowledge of Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and Maven is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Angular framework, HTML and JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Databricks is a plus
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus

Base Salary: $73,500.00 - $136,500.00

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
