Job summary

Midwest Engineered Systems in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager who writes code alongside the team. This hands-on leadership role blends software design, architecture, and people management to deliver reliable, on-premise solutions for industrial clients.

You will drive modern C#/.NET/Blazor development, integrate with PLCs, HMIs, and MES, promote Agile practices, and explore ML/AI and robotics to shape the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong hands-on coding in C#/.NET.
• Experience with on-prem deployments in industrial settings.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI and MES integrations.
• Knowledge of ML/AI concepts is a plus.
