Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures.
• Monitor application performance and implement enhancements to improve scalability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to security best practices and secure software development.
