Job summary

Priority1 is hiring a software engineer to join our growing development team responsible for building a transportation and logistics technology platform.

The role requires a BS in CS or equivalent, hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, MSSQL, and front-end JS frameworks. You will work in a small, agile team delivering web-based solutions and cloud deployments on Azure.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or equivalent experience and education.
• Experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET MVC in the Microsoft stack.
• Experience with Entity Framework, MSSQL, and relational database design.
• Frontend experience with Angular, Vue, or React.
• Hands-on REST API development for internal and external use.
• Azure cloud deployment and services experience.
• Knowledge of CQRS architecture and Azure queues/functions/webjobs a plus.
• Ability to analyze user stories and ship quality code quickly.

Ideal candidates will be diligent in problem solving, dedicated to the quality of their work, skilled in one or more required technologies, and overall versatile.

Qualified candidates have demonstrated experience working in small, agile development teams responsible for the delivery of web-based solutions. They will have experience with all aspects of application development ranging from design, development, testing, and support. Required Skills & Experience BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or equivalent experience and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing in the Microsoft stack utilizing the latest versions of .NET, specifically web-based applications using ASP.NET MVC
• Experience developing with Entity Framework using MSSQL and a general knowledge of relational database design and development
• Solid understanding and experience using a front-end JavaScript framework like Angular, Vue, or React
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs for both external and internal use
• Experience with the deployment and support of cloud-based technology in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with a CQRS architecture using Azure queues, Azure Functions, and/or Azure WebJobs a plus
• Basic knowledge of AI tooling, including both the advantage of use for coding tasks and the pitfalls of over-reliance.
• Ability to analyze user stories, effectively communicate, and ship quality code quickly
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or equivalent experience and education
