Job summary

Omni Federal is seeking a Software Engineer to support the AERO team, delivering software solutions using Python, React.js, and cloud services. You will work with FAA and NOTAM data in a modern stack, contributing to intelligence products and mission-focused objectives.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math/Info Systems or equivalent technical degree.
• 3+ years of software engineering/development experience.
• Experience with Python enterprise apps.
• Experience building high performance React.js applications.
• Foundational knowledge of Node.js.
• Web services architecture, design and development.
• Relational/Spatial/NoSQL database design experience.
• Micro-service architecture and development.
• Experience with AWS tooling, especially S3.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions for federal mission needs.
• Collaborate with NGA/FAA-related teams to deliver air traffic data products.
• Build and optimize web services and data pipelines.
• Leverage modern architectures and cloud services in delivery.

Currently supporting Notices to Airmen (NOTAM). Required Skills:

• BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent technical degree.
