Software Engineer – Azure Cloud Platform

JAKKS Pacific, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of toys and consumer products, seeks an experienced, energetic, self‑starter to join our headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. As we expand our digital capabilities, we are looking for a talented Software Engineer to drive our Azure Cloud–based platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (Forecasting, Workflows, BI Tools, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Finance, and others to deliver robust and secure cloud solutions.
• Implement best practices for cloud architecture, performance optimization, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing cloud‑based applications as needed.
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions clearly and effectively.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud‑based applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Cloud Security).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Power BI is a plus.
