Ahuora in San Jose is seeking a senior software engineer to help design and build the technology infrastructure that underpins our research, data analysis, decision-making, and risk management. You will work with cross-functional teams from quantitative researchers to business leads, applying strong CS fundamentals and expert coding skills in Java, C++, or Python to deliver scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals required.
• Expert programming skills in at least one major language (Java, C++, Python).
• Proven track record in software architecture, design, and development.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; able to adapt quickly.
• Effective communication and collaboration in team environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in CS or related STEM field.
