York Solutions, LLC is seeking a backend software engineer to build and maintain RESTful APIs in .NET and manage SQL database development. The role requires strong Azure cloud experience and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, with involvement across the SDLC and Agile practices.

The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative development while supporting existing components and collaborating across time zones, including healthcare software domains in the US.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years experience in Software Development.
• 2-3+ years experience with .NET API development (must-have).
• SQL and database development; Azure cloud familiarity.
• GitHub Actions CI/CD experience.
• Strong SDLC execution including Agile, test automation, QA testing, code reviews, static/dynamic analysis, deployments.
• Prior healthcare software domain experience preferred, US healthcare exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend RESTful APIs in .NET.
• Perform SQL and database development to support platform capabilities.
• Implement and support Azure cloud platform solutions and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on new development areas while understanding and innovating on existing source code components.
• Participate across Software Development Lifecycle activities, including quality and release practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years experience in Software Development
• 2-3+ years experience with .NET API development (must-have)
• SQL and database development; Azure cloud familiarity
• GitHub Actions CI/CD experience
• strong SDLC execution including Agile development, test automation, QA testing, code reviews, static and dynamic code analysis, and software deployments.
• Prior experience, industry background, or domain expertise preferred: Prior experience supporting enterprise healthcare software platforms, ideally in US healthcare settings, with exposure to coding enablement products and distributed collaboration across US and IST time zones.

AI Skills:

All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise.
• Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features, and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• US healthcare industry background.
• Angular or React application experience.
• Advanced Azure skills.
