Job summary

Aspida is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain our digital platform from our Durham, NC headquarters. The role requires strong end-to-end development skills, experience with NestJS, PostgreSQL, React/Next.js, and TypeScript, and a proven ability to own projects end-to-end.

You will work on scalable REST APIs, front-end UIs, and contribute to system architecture and IaC using Terraform, with a team that values hands-on collaboration and a bias toward action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as full stack engineer.
• Proficiency with NestJS (Node.js) backend and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with React/Next.js and TypeScript frontend.
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Excellent communication and ownership.

What We Are Looking For

The Full Stack Senior Software Engineer’s role is to build new features and maintain our digital platform. To ensure success in this role, candidates should have advanced programming skills, experience with end-to-end digital application development, system architecture & troubleshooting, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a great team player. This role will report to the AI Engineer and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.
