Job summary

Stott and May Inc. in New York City invites a Software Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech startup backed by a $200K–$250K compensation range plus equity and benefits.

You’ll build AI agents and automated workflows across underwriting and funding, delivering scalable finance products using real-world data. You will own projects end-to-end, collaborating with founders to take ideas through production, while helping shape the platform directions in an early-stage environment.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of shipping and running production software across the stack.
• Depth in at least one of: AI agents, data infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• High ownership, strong technical judgment, and comfort working in an early-stage environment.

Software Engineer - $30M backed Series A Startup

Location: New York City, onsite in Midtown office 5 days a week

Compensation: $200K - $250K + Equity + Benefits

About Us

Our client is a fast-growing fintech startup building technology that helps consumer brands manage and access working capital. The company has already deployed hundreds of millions of dollars in capital and is now expanding its technology platform across underwriting, financial operations, and AI.

You’ll join a small, highly technical team and work directly with the founders to shape what gets built, taking products from an initial idea through production.

Your Role

• Build AI agents and automated workflows across underwriting, funding, and repayment
