Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Software Engineer for our client in New York, NY, a healthcare startup building AI-driven, end-to-end patient workflows. You will contribute to production full-stack features powering healthcare communication and integration with EHRs.

You will work with product, design, and senior engineers to ship software, improve reliability, and scale live systems, with a focus on UX/UI and robust engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, shipping production software.
• Strong UX/UI sense and product-minded.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.
• CS degree or equivalent technical background.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production full-stack features powering AI-driven healthcare communication.
• Integrate with EHRs, legacy healthcare systems, and real-time voice infrastructure.
• Work closely with product, design, and senior engineers to turn customer needs into shipped software.
• Debug and improve reliability, performance, and scalability across live systems.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and evolving engineering practices.

Position Overview

• A healthcare startup, is seeking Software Engineers.
• They're building the communication infrastructure modern healthcare runs on.
• Their AI agents don't just answer calls - they complete workflows end-to-end, so no patient goes unheard.
• They've already handled hundreds of thousands of patient interactions across virtual care companies, health systems, and a $5B health insurance company.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production full-stack features powering AI-driven healthcare communication

Required Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, with a track record of shipping production software from 0 to 1
• Product-minded, with a strong sense for intuitive UX/UI
• Solid engineering fundamentals - proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL preferred
• A C.S. degree or equivalent technical background
• At least one clear signal of excellence: a top school, a well-known VC-backed startup or scale-up, a strong upward trajectory, standout side projects, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with LLMs and voice technologies

Salary

$150000.00-$230000.00/year
