Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience in commercial software development. The role requires deep SQL Databricks expertise, including scheduler usage, and familiarity with the State Street Alpha Data Platform.

You will collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Proficiency in CRIMS integration via its API, plus comfort with React, Mongo, REST, and GraphQL, and C# is expected.

Job description

• 10+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• SQL Databricks, including Databricks scheduler
• Knowledge of State Street Alpha Data Platform
• Experience of working with Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), specifically for integration via the CRIMS API Investment Management experience; both of business functions and data domains
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and motivated work ethic
• Ability to analyze and help define requirements, take a pragmatic approach to applying solutions and with the flexibility to cope with changing requirements and drive for attention to detail
