Job summary

Glocomms is seeking a Software Engineer (Backend / Full Stack) to join a hybrid team in Dallas or New York. You will build backend services, design APIs, and contribute to data-driven applications powering the platform.

You will collaborate with product and platform teams, implement tests, participate in CI/CD, and help scale systems across cloud environments. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience, strong Python, and hands-on work with microservices, Spark, and databases.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
